New Arcs, Probably?

Hey guys! Just came here to report my latest sightings...

It's been quite a barren week of halos lately, just some amounts of 'em are seen... But it's starting to comeback, thankfully (or hopefully). I've just seen three halos from the last time I posted a blog/article. They are the 22-degree radius on the 15th; the 22-degree sundog on the morning and then the radius one after that on 17th; and another one on 9th, but I'm not sure what it is, between a circumscribed or a 22-degree... If it is a circumscribed, then it is my first time seeing it...

So here're the photos...

9th April sighting, either a 22-degree radius or a circumscribed halo, and what's left of it at noon

15th April sighting of a 22-degree radius halo
17th April sighting of a 22-degree radius halo, and probably a faint upper tangent arc, seen on the 3rd photo

Thank you for reading the post! Hope you enjoyed it~~

Halos & Sundogs

Hi everyone! I hereby announce that there're 3 halos since the last time I posted here! They're the usual solar/sun radius halo, lunar/moon radius halo, and sundogs!

The first one seen is the sun halo, on 2nd of April. It's quite faint, but it's visible on the naked eye... The second one is the sundog, on 5th April. The sundogs were very small, I have to check it on my camera. And after I checked it, I could just see it, only just visible to my naked eye. And then the last one is the moon halo, I saw it this morning (at dawn, actually). It is quite clear. I've actually seen one the night before - very, very clear, one of the clearest I've ever seen - and even though it is at night (the sky is dark), I could still see the spectral colors. Very wonderful sighting there, but it's a shame I couldn't photograph it - I'm going out for dinner back then, so I didn't bring my camera. When I finish eating, the cloud had already came in... Quite disappointed there...

So, here're the photos! Enjoy!

2nd April sighting of a partial 22-degree radius sun halo.

5th April sighting of 22-degree sundog/parhelia, just visible flanking the sun on each sides.
6th April sighting of a 22-degree radius lunar halo at dawn.

Oh, and another photo of the moon here. After the lunar halo faded, the sky is very clear - thus the moon is pretty much very clear also. Here's the photo of it. Just for a bonus... :)

Hope you enjoy this post! :D
