Quite Some Wait . . .

It's been quite a long time since I last post. Yes, it really had been a barren week of halos, following last week... I only saw one halo in space of more than a week since my last sighting. But right after then, I got one straight week of halos! What a week... So it turns out it's not that bad of a week at all, isn't it?

The sightings was on 23rd April, and then from 3rd to 9th May straight, although I think the 7th & 8th May are actually not that different, since I saw the 7th May sighting on about 10PM, then the 8th was on the next morning (about 00.30AM). Almost all of them are the 22-degree radius or circumscribed halo, after I read on atoptics that the circular halo on midday is not always the 22-degree, although there's one where I could clearly see both arcs (on 7th). I also asked them about my 9th April sighting, and they said that it seems to be both a 22-degree radius and circumscribed. I've got a lot to learn...

So, here are the photos of the sightings... Enjoy!

23rd April sighting of a 22-degree radius/circumscribed halo

3rd May sighting of a 22-degree radius/circumscribed halo

4th May sighting of a 22-degree radius halo

5th May sighting of a 22-degree radius/circumscribed halo

6th May sighting of a 22-degree radius halo

7th May sighting of a 22-degree radius and a circumscribed halo/upper tangent arc

8th May sighting of a 22-degree radius/circumscribed halo

9th May sighting of a 22-degree radius/circumscribed halo

I also planned to make a post about the latest supermoon phenomenon, happening on 5th-6th May... Well for now, thank you for reading my post!
